(SDB) Component Description

Insulator Top Binding Wire
Preformed Helix (â‘ ): Secures the conductor and ground wire.
Sleeve (â‘¡): Protects the conductor and ground wire. During installation, the sleeve should first be sleeved onto the conductor.
Identification Tape (â‘¢): Indicates the product number and nominal dimensions.
Color Code (â‘£): Used to distinguish the applicable conductor diameter range.

Purpose
The distribution binding wire, made of aluminum - clad steel, is used to fix the conductor in the top groove of a pin - type insulator. Compared with top - clamp insulators or manual binding wires, the distribution binding wire provides a better fixing effect for the conductor.
